Now this is Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt healthy sweet treat that I can get use to.
This Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt with Dark Chocolate is made with pure peanut butter and chopped full of 70% Dark Chocolate bits.
Have you ever heard of Justin’s Nut Butter’s? If you have not heard of it, I am pretty sure that you seen the logo or the brand. I have always been curious about the peanut butter because all of my “healthier friends” love it and often eat it as a snack with apples or some sort of cracker. Therefore, when this opportunity came along, I had to see what all the “hoopla” was about. I received three different samples and they are Honey Peanut Butter, Maple Almond Butter, and Chocolate Hazelnut Butter. Let me say that all of them are freaking AMAZ-BALLS!
When I tried these nut butters there was one obvious quality about these butters that I noticed immediately. It was the texture of the butters. Because these nut butters are ground from pure nuts and organic natural ingredients, the texture and quality is nothing like a jar of other brands peanut butters, which made me wonder…what are they really putting in those other nut butters? Hmmm.
I wanted to create something that Justin would be proud of and would be enjoyable and healthy, yet guilty-free. That is why I decided to use the nut butters to make some sort of Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt! Let’s see, I knew I wanted something sweetened with the goodness of the earth and a common flavor that people loves. It came super easy to me once I thought about it that way. So, I went to my go-to sweet flavor combination. Peanut Butter and Chocolate. I am telling you this is one of the easiest recipes that I have ever come up with. It quite simple, you just throw everything in a food processor, let it pulse, let is freeze and BOOM! You’ve got yourself Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt with Dark Chocolate. When using yogurt, you must use Stonyfield Plain Greek Yogurt. Its made with natural ingredients and the yogurt is also organic! We have organic goodness all up in this frozen yogurt! Yes, I did say “all-up-in”. Don’t judge me.
