- 2 c. pancake mix (requires water only)
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 20 cooked sausage links, unthawed
- Canola Oil, for frying
- syrup for dipping
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer on 350 Degrees.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the pancake mix and water until smooth. Roll a sausage link in the flour and shake off excess. Dip into the pancake batter as the sausage link will retain a thick pancake coating. Carefully drop into hot oil and cook for 2 minutes until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon and remove from hot oil with a slotted spoon. Turn to a baking sheet lined with paper towels. Serve alongside with syrup.
