- 8 Chicken Wings
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp. Olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. Kosher salt
- 1 tsp. Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Dried thyme
- 1 lime, divided
- 2 tbsp. Fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Place the chicken wings in a clean large bowl. Season the chicken wings with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Place your chicken wings in a large refrigerated bag. Add the olive oil, minced garlic cloves, salt, pepper, thyme, half a lime, and freshly chopped cilantro in a small bowl.
- Whisk with a fork and pour over the chicken inside the bag and the breadcrumbs. Shake the bag to coat the wings evenly.
- Place the chicken wings around the basket and one in the middle using the Hamilton Beach Air Fryer. Set the temperature to 400 Degrees and cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Allow sitting for about 5 minutes.
- Place on a serving tray, squeeze with lime, season with more salt, pepper, and cilantro, and serve.
Notes
You can have the chicken wings in the marinade overnight or leave them at room temperature for 30 minutes. This allows for a crispier exterior and even cooking.
For extra crispiness, add a tablespoon of baking powder to the chicken wings.
