Description

Indulge in a Peachy Cinnamon Roll Cake that’s both easy and delicious. This no-scratch recipe combines juicy peaches with warm cinnamon for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. fresh peaches, diced and slightly smooshed
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Melted unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp. Milk
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees. Spray a 9X13 baking dish with baking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and sour cream with a handheld or standing mixer.
  3. Beat the mixture until smooth and well combined, and gently fold in the diced peaches.
  4. Pour the cake batter in the baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, and ground cinnamon and mix.
  5. Sprinkle over top of the cake batter and take the sharp end of a knife and swirl the sugar mixure around a bit making cinnamon swirls. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and it comes out clean in the center of the cake.
  6. Once baked, remove from oven and allow to cool. In a separate small bowl, combine the powdered sugar, melted butter, milk, and a pinch of salt and whisk together until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cake and allow to set and continue to cool.
  7. Slice into squares and serve warm.
