Tired of the same old salmon? This Citrus Salmon recipe adds a tangy twist to your weeknight dinner. With a zesty citrus sauce, it’s a refreshing and flavorful dish that’s easy to make!


Ingredients

  • 26 oz. salmon fillets
  • olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 stick unsalted cold butter
  • juice of half lemon + 2 tsp. lemon zest
  • juice of half lime + 2 tsp. lime zest
  • 2 tsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon with salt and pepper. In a medium-sized pan on medium heat, drizzle with olive oil and allow to heat.
  2. Cook on each side for 5 minutes or until cooked to your liking. Set aside.
  3. Reduce the heat to low to medium and add the cold butter and 2 tbsp. olive oil. Once completely melted, add the juice and the zest of the lemon and lime; add fresh rosemary, dill, and minced garlic clove. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour some of the sauce in the desired amount on top of the warm salmon and serve.
