Ingredients
Scale
- large French Bread Loaf
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 2 tsp. basil leaves
- pizza sauce
- turkey pepperoni
- 2 c. mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- – Desired toppings
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 Degrees and spray a long baking sheet with cooking spray.
- In a small sauce pan, melt the butter on low heat. Once the butter has melted, remove from heat and add the garlic and onion powder, and add the oregano and basil leaves and stir until well mixed.
- Take the long loaf of French Bread and use a serrated knife to cut the bottom of the loaf off of the bread leaving the top of the bread and the majority of the bread. Cut the loaf into two halves and use a pastry brush and brush the top of the French (which will be the bottom) with the melted butter.
- Place the top of the french bread on top of the prepared baking sheet. Take the remaining melted butter and brush the top of the french bread. Take some of the pizza sauce and spread on top of the bread and use the bottom of a spoon to spread the sauce along the bread. Sprinkle the top of the bread with both cheeses. Top off the french bread with the turkey pepperoni or other desired toppings. If there is leftover cheese sprinkle on top of the remaining toppings and place in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
