Making this Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork is a great recipe for an Easter Brunch!

Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

You don’t need a huge smoker to make this Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork recipe! Just a slow cooker!

Now, I know we just started with spring,  and I am excited about Easter! I am excited about the fun activities, the Easter Egg Hunts, the fun city events that take place, and, most importantly, the FOOD! I love going to brunch especially on Easter and other holiday festivities all to enjoy the wonderful culinary splendor of delicious food. I especially love food with a smoky flavor. Gosh, how I wish I had a smoker. I would smoke everything! I would smoke my burgers, steaks, fish, sausages, and pork! Oh, my goodness, the flavor, the deliciousness, and…the flavor ( I already said that). Well, for those of us who do not have a smoker or doesn’t know how to smoke our food, we can rely on our trusted and never failed slow cooker AKA crockpot.

Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

You may not be able to make burgers using a slow cooker, but you can definitely make this Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork.

It’s easy! All you have to do is add the pork shoulder to the slow cooker, season it with a lot of love, for the smokey flavor, add some liquid smoke, and let the slow cooker do the rest of the work! It is that easy. There is nothing better than this Slow Cooker Pulled Pork simply because of the pork flavor. Yea I know there are a lot of you who have your mind made up about pork and how unhealthy it can be for you. But I have you know, that not only is pork delicious in flavor, but it is also a great source of lean protein and a great alternative to being presented to your family dinner table. I mean, I don’t know about you but I get tired of beef and chicken. So you know this Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork was greatly appreciated. And because Easter is just next week, we all could use a dish that is easy as it is appreciated!

I know the traditional main course meat for Easter is ham. Believe me, I get it. However, you can switch things up this year by having a BBQ themed Easter dinner! The Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork will be the star of your holiday meal along with your other traditional fixings such as Deviled Eggs, Potato Salad, Collard Greens, Baked Beans, and “Sock It To Me Cake” (coming soon)! That sounds good, doesn’t it? Well, that is what I will be making for my family this Easter holiday. Oh! I almost forgot you need a sauce to go along with this Pulled Pork recipe, don’t you?

Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Along with any Pulled Pork recipe, it is a must to have an amazing BBQ sauce to smother your pulled pork. Now, I have the remedy for you there. You can use my standard Bar-B-Que sauce recipe or my absolute fabulous Honey Chipotle Strawberry BBQ sauce recipe. Trust me, it is great! It isn’t at all fruity like you may think. The strawberry flavor works very well with the chipotle flavor and the sweetness of the honey. You will love me for it. I promise!
