This Pumpkin Pull Apart Bread is super easy and super delicious to enjoy for the Fall! All you need is a can of biscuits, pumpkin puree, and few simple ingredients!
Ingredients
  • 1 can Flaky Biscuits
  • ½ can pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. Maple extract
  • 2 c. Lite Brown Sugar
  • 1 ¼ c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 tbsp. Butter melted
  • 2 tbsp. Milk
  • ½ c. roasted pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees and spray a 8.5X4.5 loaf pan with baking spray and set aside.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, egg, sugar, and both extracts together. Place the brown sugar in a separate bowl. Open the can of biscuits and slice each biscuit in half making 2 thinner biscuits.
  3. Take one of the biscuits and dredge through the pumpkin puree coating both sides of the biscuit. Dip in the brown sugar and coat on both sides. Place in the loaf pan facing upward. Continue the process until all biscuits have been coated and stacked alongside of each other making a row. Sprinkle the pecans on top.
  4. NOTE: Your coating of both brown sugar and pumpkin puree doesn't have to be very thick. This could make the bread a bit sweet. Just use enough to coat both sides.
  5. Place in the oven with the rack in the middle and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown. Once the bread is finished baking set aside and begin to make the glaze.
  6. In a separate bowl, add the powdered sugar, melted butter, salt, vanilla extract, and mix. If the glaze is too thick, add ½ tbsp of milk at a time until it has reached a desirable consistency. However, you don’t want it too thin. Just a little thinner than cake frosting.
  7. While the bread is still warm, drizzle with the icing and allow to set. Serve as desired.
  8. NOTE: You can keep the bread in the pan or remove the bread by placing a plate or a chopping board on top of the pan, flip the pan, and the bread should slide out. Once it does, take another plate and place on top of the bread, which will be the bottom, and flip so the bread can be right side up. Then drizzle with the icing.
