FOR THE CAKE:
- 1 box (18 1/4 Oz. Size) Yellow Cake Mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 c. Sour Cream
- 2/3 c. Oil
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 c. Light Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp. Cinnamon
FOR THE ICING:
- 2 1/2 c. Powdered Sugar
- 2 tbsp. melted butter
- 2 tbsp. Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Spray a bundt cake pan with baking spray and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, take the cake mix, eggs, water, sour cream, vanilla extract cinnamon, and mix well with an electric mixer or a handheld mixer.
- In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well with a fork to combine.
- Pour half of your cake mixture into the prepared bundt cake pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon mixture on top of the first half of the cake mix. Pour the remaining cake batter on top of the brown sugar sugar. Smooth the top and use a sharp knife or long tooth pick and swirl the cake mix and cinnamon sugar mixture together. Don’t over-swirl. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
- Remove from the oven when a toothpick can be inserted and it comes out clean. Allow it to cool for about 15-20 minutes flip it onto the cooling rack and allow it to continue to cool.
- In a medium bowl, add the powdered sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract and mix together until smooth. Pour over the cake and allow the glaze to set and serve.
