Description

This Peanut Butter Brownie Mousse Cake Recipe has a brownie bottom and a peanut butter mousse filling that will knock your socks off!


Ingredients

  • 1 Brownie Mix Box (including its contents water, oil, and egg)
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ c. creamy peanut butter
  • ½ c. powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • ½ c. milk
  • 8 oz. Creamy Whipped Topping
  • 8 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
  • c. toffee pieces
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Spray a 9 ½ inch springform pan with baking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare the brownie mix as instructed. Add the brownie mix, oil, egg, and water in the bowl and mix until well blended. Pour the brownie mix in the springform pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow cooling completely.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend the cream cheese and peanut butter together. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Slowly add the milk making the mixture creamy. Fold in the whipped topping using a rubber spatula until there are no streaks. Fold in the toffee and peanut butter cup pieces and pour on top of the brownie bottom and smooth the top. Place in freezer for, at least 4 hours. Top off with whipped cream around the edges and chocolate shavings, if desired, and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
