Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large portabella mushroom cap
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. liquid sauce
- 1 tbsp. steak sauce
- 1 tbsp. blue cheese crumbles
- whole wheat bun
- red onion slices
- tomato slices

Instructions
- Using a spoon, scrape the shingle that are in the middle of the mushroom out of the burger.
- In a small ramekin, combine the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, liquid smoke, and steak sauce and whisk until all is well combined. Using a pastry brush, brush the sauce on the mushrooms on both sides. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes.
- Drizzle a grill pan with the olive oil on medium high heat. Add the mushrooms to the warmed grill and grill on both sides for about 3 minutes. After 6 minutes of grilling, add a tablespoon of blue cheese crumbles to your burger and allow them to melt. Once melted remove from heat and turn to a whole wheat bun and add onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, or whatever you like on your burger and enjoy!
