  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 c. onion, diced and more for topping
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 215 oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 6 oz. tomato paste
  • 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp. Chipotle Sauce
  • 15.5 can Hot Chili beans
  • 1/4 c. red wine
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1.25 oz. Chili seasoning
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper
  • 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground Allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. Light brown sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 box of Spaghetti Noodles, cooked
  • 1 lb. bag of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Oyster crackers

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch Oven on medium-high heat and cook the onions until soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 3 minutes, careful not to let burn.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned all the way through. Chop the beef very fine using a spatula.
  3. Next, add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chipotle sauce, chili beans, and water, and bring to a simmer. Next, add the Worcestershire sauce, red wine, chili seasoning, onion and garlic powder, pepper, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, allspice, bay leaf, and chocolate. Stir until the chocolate melts. Season with salt to taste. Allow the chili to cook on low for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles, sprinkle with diced onions (optional) and a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese and oyster crackers (if desired).
