Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ lb. ground beef

- 1 c. onion, diced and more for topping
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2–15 oz. cans tomato sauce
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp. Chipotle Sauce
- 15.5 can Hot Chili beans
- ¼ c. red wine
- 1 c. water
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire
- 1.25 oz. Chili seasoning
- 1 tsp. Onion powder
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Pepper
- ¼ tsp. Cayenne pepper
- 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- ¼ tsp. Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. All spice
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 box Spaghetti Noodles, cooked
- 1 lb. bag Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Oyster crackers
Instructions
- In a large pot on medium high heat, heat the olive oil and begin to cook the onions until soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 3 minutes careful not to let burn. Add the ground beef and cook until browned all the way through. Chop the beef very fine using a spatula.
- Next, add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chipotle sauce, chili beans, water, and bring to a simmer. Next, add the Worcestershire sauce, red wine, chili seasoning, onion and garlic powder, pepper, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, allspice, bay leaf, and chocolate. Season with salt to taste. Allow the chili to cook on low for, at least, 30 minutes. Serve over spaghetti noodles, sprinkle with diced onions, and a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese and oyster crackers (if desired).
