Description

Healthy and simple granola bars made in your own kitchen. You can get creative with them and add sunflower seeds, pistachio, or walnuts. You can even add different types of dried fruit. Make it your own!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 1/2 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. sliced almonds
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2/3 c. butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. craisins
  • 22.46 oz. 70-75% Cacao Chocolate Bars, melted for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 Degrees
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, sliced almonds, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract and whisk together. Use a rubber spatula and mix in the butter and honey. You may have to use your fingers to make sure that the butter and honey is well blended.
  3. Spray a 9X13 rectangular dish with baking spray and pour in the granola mix. Use the back of a spatula or your hands to pat the granola evenly into the dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes. Allow to cool. Cut the granola into desired sized bars and drizzle with melted chocolate and place on a cooling rack while the chocolate sets.
