These all-star Slow Cooker Meatballs Sandwiches will take a load off your dinner plans. They are super juicy and delicious!


  • 1 ¼ lb. ground beef
  • 1 ¼ lb. ground sausage
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. breadcrumbs
  • 1 c. grated parmesan
  • ½ tbsp. salt
  • ½ tbsp. pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp. red crushed pepper flakes
  • ½ tbsp. oregano flakes
  • ½ tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb. Marinara Sauce
  • ¼ c. green peppers, diced
  • ¼ c. onion, diced
  • Hoagie Buns
  • Mozzarella Cheese Slices


  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground sausage, both eggs, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, salt, pepper, red crushed pepper flakes, oregano flakes, and Italian Seasoning. Use your hands to mix the ingredients well. Once all ingredients are combined, take about 2 tbsp. of the meatball mixture and form into balls. Place on plate or chopping board. Continue rolling balls.
  2. In a large sauté pan place the meatballs around the pan and cook on medium high heat. Cook until browned on top and bottom. In a crockpot, place the diced onion and green peppers inside the crockpot, place the half cooked meatballs around the slow cooker and pour the marinara sauce on top. Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
  3. Serve on hoagie buns and slices of mozzarella cheese.
