Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. Ground nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Baking soda
  • 2 ¼ c. flour
  • 1 ½ c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ c. plain chocolate holiday M&M’s

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the melted butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla extract, ground nutmeg, and eggs. Mix using a handheld or standing mixer. Next, add the salt, baking soda, and flour one cup at a time. Fold in the chocolate chips and holiday plain chocolate M&M’s. Refrigerate for 1 hour, at least.
  2. Preheat oven to 325 Degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
  3. Use a cookie scoop or a large tablespoon to scoop the dough. Roll into a ball and place on the baking sheet one inch apart. Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool. Place on a cooling rack. These cookies will remain soft and chewy for 1 week.
