			- 1 cup ketchup
 - 1/2 cup honey
 - 2 tablespoons strawberry preserves or strawberry jam
 - 1 chipotle pepper, chopped
 - 1 tablespoon adobo sauce (from the chipotle pepper can)
 - 1/2 cup diced strawberries
 - 1 garlic clove, minced
 - 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
 - 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley leaves
 - 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
 - 1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
 - Season with kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
 
Instructions
- Combine ketchup, honey, strawberry preserves, chipotle pepper, and adobo sauce in a crockpot on high heat.
 - Add diced strawberries, minced garlic, liquid smoke, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, parsley, basil, cayenne pepper, and apple cider vinegar. Stir well.
 - Allow the sauce to cook for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until thickened and flavors are melded.
 - Adjust seasoning if needed.
 - Apply to meat or serve as a dipping sauce.
