Make Homemade Pizza Rolls a perfect week-night dinner option for the family! Just fill with your desired fillings, top with cheese, and bake! For a complete meal, add a side salad!


  • 1 can refrigerated pizza crust
  • 15 oz. pizza sauce
  • 2 c. pepperoni
  • 4 tsp. Dried oregano or Italian seasoning, separated
  • 2 c. fresh mozzarella cheese or prepackaged, grated (fresh mozzarella is much better)
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Onion powder
  • Garnish: red crushed pepper flakes, grated parmesan


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Lightly flour your surface. Open the can of pizza dough and lay it out on the lightly floured surface. Once you roll it out about an extra half inch, it should already be perfectly rectangular. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. Open the can of pizza sauce and pour some of it on the crust (about half), leaving about 1 inch of the edges uncovered. Sprinkle half (2 teaspoons) of the dried oregano on top of the sauce.
  4. Place the pepperoni over the sauce. Then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the pepperoni. With the end of the pizza closest to you, begin to roll the pizza tightly toward the other end. 
  5. Some toppings will ooze out; just try to keep it intact as much as possible. Once you have rolled the pizza into a log shape, with a sharp knife, cut the log into 1-inch thick slices, making pizza rolls. You should get about 6 out of the log.
  6. Place each pizza roll on top in a 9-inch round pan or a cookie sheet, and place in the oven for 25 minutes. 
  7. While the pizza rolls are baking, in a small bowl, add the butter, and with a hand grater, grate the garlic into the bowl with the butter. Put the butter with the garlic in the microwave for 1 minute, and once the butter is completely melted, whisk to ensure that the garlic is evenly mixed and not in large chunks in the butter. Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  8. Once the pizza rolls are finished, take a pastry or silicone brush, brush the pizza rolls with the melted butter, and serve!


You can also brush the rolls with a little of the butter before you put them in the oven too.
