Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs. fresh green beans
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 56 pieces of bacon, cooked and chopped
  • kosher salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the green beans by rinsing them thoroughly under water. With food shears, snip off the ends of the green beans. Be sure to snip off any damaged ends of the green beans as well.
  2. In a large sauce pan drizzle the 3 tablespoons of olive oil on medium high heat. Place the green beans in the pan and place a lid over them for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, go back and stir and place the lid back on top of the green beans and allow to cook for another 5-7 minutes. You can cook longer if you don’t want your green beans to be as crunchy. It is completely up to you.
  3. Add the bacon, garlic, and season with salt and pepper and allow to cook for another 3-5 minutes just long enough to cook the garlic. Serve!
