So, I want to take a pause for the causing of sharing with you a guilty pleasure of mine.
Yea, yea, yea, you heard from me and possibly others the woes of blogging. There really is no exact science or a template of what you can do or should do to have a successful blog. The best thing I can tell you, if you are trying to start a blog, is to do it because you love it and not because you are expecting some major pay-off in the end. You have be completely selfless when it comes to your expectations of starting a blog. It has to be completely and utterly because of the love of what you are talking about. Although I consider myself to be a very selfless blogger, I do have aspirations to turn this into my primary source of income so I can stay at home with the children my husband and I plan to have. That and so I can stop working for other people and be my own boss. There is a lot that goes into blogging. You don’t know what I’m talking about? Well let me tell you.
There is
- Creating a recipe
- Testing the recipe
- Food Photography
- Food Styling
- Creating Content
- Editing Content
- Posting the Blog Post
- Advertise the Blog Post
- Pinterest Scheduling
- Social Media Scheduling
- Social Media Sharing
- Comment Posting
- Blah…blah..blah
It is a lot that goes into running a blog like this and to be perfectly honest, I do not do all of those things previously mentioned everyday. If we are going to continue to be honest, I don’t even feel like doing those things everyday. I am going through major life change (I’ll tell you guys about it later) and I am always tired, sick, and just not motivated (hint…hint). Every now and then you need a short break or something small that will just give you the burst of energy that you need. Lately, it has been eating Snickers new candy bar Snickers Crisp!
I am ashamed to say (not really) that I use to eat Snickers for breakfast. Yes, this was at an age I didn’t know any better. I mean, I must’ve had anywhere between 3-5 Snicker bars within a week. Now, I have gotten a little better and eat them very seldom. That is until Snickers decided to give me something else difficult to ignore and that is the new Snickers Crisper Candy Bar that is available now and your nearest Wal-Mart. If you are wondering what the biggest difference is between a normal Snickers and the Snicker Crisp is one element. The Snicker Crisp has all the amazing elements that you love in a regular Snickers Bar, but with a crispy rice added for an extra crisp and crunch that you will fall in love with! While I was eating the Snicker Crisp bites everything from making a new recipe video, to recording a new podcast, to scheduling images for Pinterest simply disappeared! That is the magic of the Snickers Crisp. You wanna see? The next time you are irritated, frustrated, or a little hungry, satisfy your hunger with a treat from Snickers newest addition called the Snickers Crisp which is located at your nearest Wal-Mart. I promise you won’t be mad!
