I have blogged for nearly two years and I have come to love this hobby as much as my dream full-time job. When I started my blog I was taking my pictures with a regular digital camera, like most new food bloggers. I had no idea how to generate traffic to let people know that my blog even existed; I didn’t know you could make money from blogging; and I had no idea how resourceful and beneficial it is to learn about SEO and different plug-ins. I was blogging blind, but I was blogging blind by love. I absolutely, no doubt about it, seriously, love blogging! I love spending time taking “mouth-watering” photographs, creating easy and delicious recipes, and connecting with all of you. I would say, on average, I spend about 15-20 hours ( or more) a week of my time dedicated to blogging stuff, which includes socializing, cooking, picture-taking, recipe testing, and learning. I could not have learned how to develop my blog if it wasn’t for two resources that every food blogger should invest. Those two resources are Food Blogger Pro and Tasty Food Photography E-Book.
Let me start with Tasty Food Photography E-Book. This book save my food photography life. I learned so much about composition, aperture, editing, and how to effectively use props to take better pictures that my pictures will never be the same. Don’t believe me? Take a look at some of my older pictures. These probably aren’t the worst food pictures that you’ve seen but they most certainly aren’t the best. I think we all can agree with that.
After I purchased the Tasty Food Photography E-Book and applied some of the techniques and began learning about editing, here are what some of my pictures look like now and here are some of the chapters!
You definitely can see a qualitative difference in the pictures of before and after. If you are struggling with your pictures, you have to invest in yourself and buy this book! In fact, if you buy this E-book between November 28th – Monday, December 2nd. You can get the book 50% off which brings the cost to $9.50! Just go to the link below and type in TFP50 in the discount box!
Also between today and Monday you can get this resource 50%! Just go to the site, sign up, and type in the discount code FBP125. Click on the link below to get started today!
Okay, now you know everything I know about how to properly grow and develop your food blog. Us food bloggers spend a lot of time developing our blog and really enjoy sharing our craft with the rest of the world. Most of us aren’t professionals. Heck, most of us are stay at home moms that has found blogging to be a wonderful hobby and a great way to make enjoyable and easy supplemental income. I am not saying that you will become a millionaire from blogging or even be the next Pioneer Woman, but if you want to learn a bit more about how to make your blog and photos more appealing and learn how to make some income to justify the amount of time and effort your already investing then I say invest in yourself first and buy these two resources. You won’t be sorry.
Happy Thanksgiving!
