I am on my way to a tailgate party!
If you have been a faithful blog follower of mine for the past 3 years, you know how much I love to tailgate. You know that every year my friends and family get together to gorge on bad food, sports talk, and crude jokes. You know that sometimes there is some booty shaking and busting gut laughing moments that are valuable and pretty darn fun to report to you all. Well this year, there is no exception. I am still tailgating and having a good time. This year has been particularly fun too because the Cincinnati Bengals actually are having a pretty good season. Hey, if nothing else happens I think we are just happy to say that we beat the Seattle Seahawks. I mean…I didn’t even see that coming. I just didn’t want us to lose too badly. I was very impressed with the Bengals during that game. This post I want to share something a little different with you. I want to talk to you about my preparation before and after the game.
So I am trying to be a little healthier, right? I want to surround myself with healthier food options so I don’t get easily tempted to eat unhealthy food options. I must explain this because I know some of you are wondering why in the heck do I have almonds and carrots going to a tailgate party?! I know, but this is what I am becoming and I have lost 15 pounds this year so far to show for it. The delicious dip that you see in the awesome Rubber Maid © Party Platter is Loaded Baked Potato Dip. Now, I don’t know if you’ve had this dip before but it is insanely good. It traditionally made with sour cream, cheese, bacon, and some other stuff. Again, because I am trying to be healthy, I changed the sour cream to Plain Greek Yogurt, turkey bacon bits, low-fat cheese, and a packet of ranch mix. I promise it tastes the same! I kid you not! My family craves for “The Dip” every football gathering we have. Thanks to Rubber Maid, transporting all of my goodness from home to the game has never been easier!
When I would make “The Dip” I would mix everything in a bowl and hope that it didn’t spill in the car. Well now with the Rubber Maid © Party Platter, I can transport my food with ease and peace of mind. All I have to do is make my dip, put in the middle container that will twist and seal, place four variety dippers in the compartments of the platter, seal it in its airtight container, and go to the game! The best part is that the container is 100% BPA free, microwaveable, dishwasher and freezer safe. That isn’t the best part of these containers! They all comes with a secure lid that creates a tight seal and allows for safe and easy transportation and you can stack them upon each other!
So, I love tailgating and I love fall season. What I love the most now is Rubber Maid © for making something so easy and amazing that makes my life and tailgating partying so much easier! Oh! I almost forgot to mention that I hardly ever fill all of my containers because I am always ready to bring home left overs! Everyone has their designated dish or treats to bring. This year I just needed to give healthier snacks and “The Dip”! TO learn more about Rubber Maid © and its products, click on the links below.
