I wrote this poem last year when I was feeling some sort of way about love. It is no mystery, I have been in love once in my life. And that kind of love makes you do and think some strange things. It was the second greatest love of my life. But like all love, it comes to an end and only result in pain once it is gone. I wish I was loved the same way, but I think I am starting to learn that when it is yours it won’t whether, it won’t falter, it won’t give up, it will fight itself to be with you, it will travel all corners of the earth just to be near you, it sees beyond what your worth, it isn’t painful, and it shows you love by action. I think I am worth more than just words. I am worthy of someone loving me as I have once loved. I just hope it finds me one day. And when it does, the love I experienced before will only be a lesson that will help me appreciate something real.

It’s powerful
It’s bigger than life
It’s better than life
It makes you want to leave this life and just stay there
It’s infinite
It’s bright
It is a purple line in a grey sky
Its makes all existence crave its presence
It’s safe yet dangerous
It caresses me at night
Its touch melts my soul
It makes me wanna dance
It makes me want to praise God
It makes me want to bow to Buddha
It makes me pray to Allah
It makes me want to celebrate with the Jews
It surpasses all understanding of all love
It is love
It so strong it’s tangible
Your love can end all hate in the world
