I know we have something going on almost every weekend until the end of the year. That means, I am going to need to come up with a lot easy appetizers to make for a crowd, plan some easy holiday dinner menus, and also have a few easy ingredients on hand to make a quick and easy cocktail.

Let’s pause and talk about cocktails for a minute. I know it is much easier to buy a case of water and soda to have for your guests. However, I would like to argue that you should go out of your way, every once and a while, to make a cocktails for your holiday events. I know that some of you are thinking that is extra work, but it really isn’t! If you have a Discount Drug Store around you, then you are in luck.

You don’t have to go to a fancy liquor store to buy some expensive drinks to throw in an expensive crystal glass for it to be good. In fact, there are four affordable fizzy drinks that you can buy at your local Discount Drug Store that will wow your guest and they will never know! I am all about the fizz when it comes to cocktails. I am also a sweet cocktail person too. Luckily, with the four alcohol drinks that I will mention in this post, you have some options as to if you want a sweeter beverage or something more bitter.

This holiday season try my Boozy Cranberry Ice Cream Float that can be made with

• Cook’s Champagne
• Martini & Rossi
• Truly Hard Seltzer
• White Claw Hard Seltzer.

What I love about these options is you can serve a Boozy Cranberry Ice Cream Float a little strong using the Cook’s or Martini & Rossi champagne or you can keep them a little mild and simply use one of the Hard Seltzers, Truly or White Claw. You can also set out some cranberry or pomegranate juice to add different variety for your guests. To make these cocktails more fun, you can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or your choice of holiday ice cream such as Peppermint or White Chocolate and Peppermint ice cream (yeah it’s a thing).
