Doesn’t this look romantic?
You know, Valentine’s Day is next week, right? Oh my bad, did I bring up something you were trying to forget or just didn’t remember? I apologize about that. Not to worry, your girl has your back. I got you boo! I know it gets crazy with all the planning and the pressure to be more romantic than you were the year before. Men, I honestly do feel your pain. Yes, I do. Because we love each other so much, my fiance and I are always thinking of ways to be romantic for one another. I think without saying, my fiance and I try to outdo one another. It’s a healthy competition. We aren’t talking about us, we are talking about YOU and something quick you can put together that is on the verge of “fancy” but not really.
Shrimp Scampi! It’s good right. The garlic, the wine, and the lemon juice works really well together right?! When I made this a couple of weeks ago, I seriously “bashed” this dish! It-was-awesome! Would you believe me if I told you that this was my first time eating Shrimp Scampi? Yea man. I know I’m late in the game and this is now one of my favorite pasta dishes. You know, there is something strangely sexy about this dish too. If I came home and my man was in the kitchen cooking up this dish, with an apron around his waist,…..HONEY! I can’t even tell you what I would do. No, like seriously I can’t tell you what I would do. I have elders and teenagers looking at my blog now. Let’s just say. I would scampi his shrimp right after dinner. LMBO. Too much? Oh well.
If you are looking for a dinner to make your husband, wife, boyfriend, or girlfriend I would highly consider this dish. It is super easy but because of the name and that you are cooking with wine, it is going to come across as though you put in more effort into the dish than you actually did. Just prepare an awesome salad, warm up some garlic bread, serve with a glass of white wine and your golden! If you are struggling for a dessert to create then go through my website. I’m sure you’ll find something :-). Happy Huntings!
