Me love me some pizza in any form!
Hi…My name is Nicole..and I am a pizza-holic. My love of pizza started when I was just a young’n in elementary. All the pizza parties and the pizza that would come with the school lunch began what I now know as a love affair with pizza. When I went to middle school, every Wednesday we would get one slice of pizza from Pizza Hut. Ahhh, the buttery and crisp crust did nothing but tease and tantalize me in every way. Then, when I was allowed to go to the mall and hang out with friends I would always get a slice of pizza from Sbarro (still do) and sprinkle it with Parmesan, Oregano, and Red Pepper Flakes. The temptation is everywhere. I can be at a health food convention and if I smell anything that smells close to pizza my eyes begin to twirl like the circle from the Twilight Zone and I become a snake hypnotized by a snack charmer. I have to seriously restrain myself, ESPECIALLY if its good pizza. I’m not talking Little Caesars I’m talking Dewey’s Pizza (my favorite pizza place). It makes total sense to me about why I would make a Pizza Panini.
As I mentioned in a earlier post, I recently began a new job. When I left my old job I made sure I cashed out on my “Epic Points”. These were points that were received by my peers and managers based upon me doing a good job or whatever they wanted to reward me for. I cashed in those points and I selected a Panini Maker as my prize. Believe me, I have gone Panini crazy. I thought it would be good to make a Pizza Panini with all of my favorite pizza toppings. I am a classic Pepperoni and Cheese chick. Can’t go wrong with that. I bought some mini pizza crusts to use as my bread, pizza sauce, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, and prosciutto. Super easy!
What I love about this sandwich is that you can eat this as is or you can cut this up in triangles and serve them as mini-sandwich, which could serve the purpose of appetizers! This is also perfect if you are having a lunch party with people. You can make this Panini, salad, have some other side, and you can make my Brownie Affogato Sundaes as a sweet treat. Aww man, I think I might have to do this and have a little lunch party. I mean these sandwiches are “stupid easy” to put together.
And this is what these ingredients will bring to the world:
Looking at these pictures surely you can understand, this is my addiction and I am proud of it. So if you try to make me go to rehab I won’t go…go…go! I feel that was cheesy way to end this blog post. I just ran out of words to say. Anyway, see you next week!
