Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!!!!!! Tailgating is what I live for!
I am ready for another season of Tailgating Fun but with this time with Tradewinds Tea!
You have read blog posts of mine where I express my greatest enthusiasm for football season! Not because I look forward to watching me clash into each other like a bunch of Barbarians. No! I like football season for one reason and one reason only. TAILGATING! I absolutely love tailgating. It is an American sport activity that I look forward to every year. Yes, the beer drinking, the chicken wings, the food, the music, the games, and did I say beer drinking?! Last year I was pregnant so I couldn’t enjoy that part, but I did get my tailgating fix during my baby shower. tailgating is an awesome way for people to come together to enjoy each other’s company and to rant over their favorite teams. Although I don’t understand it, I do enjoy the banter of the men shouting out their favorite player and why and listening to them analyze stats of a player and a team because I don’t understand hardly any of it. This is probably why I don’t get into football that much because there is so much I don’t understand. I am sure if I had a team to cheer for, I would be able to follow along a bit better and even engage in those conversations as well.
In case you are wondering, no I am not a Cincinnati Bengals fan even though I live in Cincinnati. I am an advocate for the Bengals. Meaning, I want them to do well, but I don’t pour my heart out every season based upon their performance. Why? Because the Bengals are an untrustworthy team to put faith in! But that is another topic for another blog post. Let’s move on.
My family and I get together every year to celebrate the beginning of football season. We do a couple of things, we either go down to the stadium with the food, our grills, and music and have a good time that way or we pick a house and have a cookout that way. What I look forward to the most is the food! We have everything from dips, to chips, to dogs, to burgers, to wings, to meatballs, and the list goes on and on. But this year, I will be bringing a new friend to the party that is going to help all of us wash down the food we eat and that friend is Tradewinds Slow Brewed Tea. I mentioned in a previous post how I enjoy Tradewinds Slow Brewed Ice Tea when I need my mommy time. Well, I also enjoy my tea when I am in good company! Tradewinds Slow Brewed Ice tea is the perfect thirst quencher! You can drink as is or you could add a little “sumthin-sumthin” to give it a little kick, and cocktails along with beer is perfect for tailgating season. So when you go out and buy your team football jerseys, your food, and beverages, do not forget to pick up a gallon of Tradewinds Slow Brewed Ice Tea to share with a crowd.
