Crescent Cheesecake Roll-Ups

These Crescent Cheesecake Roll-Ups are made with some crescent roll dough and a delicious and simple cheesecake filling. To make it better, they are then rolled in cinnamon sugar and makes a perfect dessert!

I don’t know what I was doing when my mind decided to come up with cheesecake in the form of a roll-up. I think it is because I love cheesecake and I love fruit roll-ups. Maybe somewhere deep in my mind, the two ideas began dating without me knowing and these cheesecake roll-ups is their child they couldn’t hide any longer. Now that the child is here, I feel that it’s partially my responsibility to present these roll-ups in a “Lion King” way. Remember the part when Rafiki held baby Simba for all to see on Pride Rock? Yea, that is what I am doing with these roll-ups. I mean after all, “it’s the circle of life and it moves us all”. No?

In any case, these roll-ups will make you stare to the heavens and wonder why God allowed such a creation to happen. Hey, I did it. I know you will do it too. What I love about these roll-ups is how easy, I mean no-thought easy, it is to make these. All you do is cut the crescent dough into squares, spoon some of the cheesecake mixtures in the middle, roll, fry, sprinkle, and enjoy! You can even make a dipping buffet of different dipping sauces like strawberry, chocolate, and caramel sauce! People can dip away! You just have to make sure they know they can’t double-dip. Yea, that’s kind of gross.

So, if you need a last-minute dessert or sweet treat for any reason, go to the grocery store and buy some cream cheese and crescent roll dough, put these roll-ups together, buy some dipping sauces, and you will be fine! In fact, people will love you for it. Just make sure you let them cool a bit before you serve them. No one wants to eat hot cream cheese. What’s the name of the enemy known for running food?
