Instagram is the new thing these days. Instead of posting an actual status on your Facebook Page, you can take a picture that shows exactly how you are feeling or what you are experiencing. Here are a few Instagram photos that are centered around food from some of my favorite food bloggers and beyond. If you are on Instagram, go ahead and check out my album. Its on the right, if you can’t find it.
This is a Caramel Apple Cake with Salted Caramel Buttercream Icing. I must try this in the fall. Her pictures are impeccable!
As an untrained food photographer, it helps to see life through other photographers eyes. After a while, you begin to see things differently and you begin to develop an “eye” for things. Her pictures help me to do just that.
I love when food bloggers make food and drinks look sexy.
This is probably my most favorite food blog. Not because of her recipes but because of her spirit. Her and her husband share how to have a successful food blog and they even share what they do that makes their blog successful. She takes wonderful pictures as well.
You might have seen this guy on a commercial on the Cooking Channel talking about his love for food. He has been mentioned by several food bloggers and foodies such as, Martha Stewart and The Pioneer Woman. His food is simple and delectable. I love his Instagram pictures which gather hundreds of likes.
So you know that my blog consists of three major concepts: Food, City-life, Sex. I talk more about the city life on my Facebook Page and in Instagram. This is a picture that I took at a new Asian restaurant downtown Cincinnati called Kaze. Wonderful sushi, which is my favorite food. Follow me on Instagram.
When I go to Farmers Markets, I feel God. Now I know that there may be some people who have various religious and spiritual differences and perspectives, and that is okay, but if you could, follow me for a second. Fruits and vegetables come start off from a seed that is planted into soil. We can’t see what happens to that seed once we plant it into the ground, all we know is that when we nurture the seed by providing plenty of sunlight, water, and remove weeds that could choke the growth of the seed we get delicious and healthy food that we then take home and combine with other ingredients to create delicious meals. I believe, God has placed every essential ingredient that we need to give our taste buds an experience of a lifetime. If you catch me in a farmers market; you will catch me smelling everything; tasting everything; and a warm smile on my face.
I love the combination of eating sweet and salty foods at the same time. It’s so much fun.
In the center of my heart, you will find my love for food and entertaining. I often say that I wish I could feed the world. Although I don’t have the financial means to do that now, my food blog is just going to have to do. I blog because it feels my heart with so much joy. Joy because I am taking my craft, cooking, and placing it out there for the world to experience. I believe that food is the bridge to happiness and fellowship. Think about it, if you have a good meal and good friends, think about the joy and happiness that happens in those moments. Your talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly and you have the comfort of food to bond you to each other. In fact, when you eat good food, your problems seems miles away. There are other vices in this world that could give you that same feeling, I suppose, but food is one of the few things that doesn’t have a hidden agenda. It doesn’t have sexual or violent lyrics and it doesn’t get you high in such a way where you may do harm to yourself or others. Food is the binding glue to all things good and pure. That is why food is in the center of my heart.
I seriously can’t stop thinking about ways to make your day better, to bring your family together at the dinner table, and have one of the best gatherings at your house. I believe God has put this yearning in my heart to mend some of the brokenness in this world. Who would have ever thought that something as simple as food could be just what the world needs.
