OMG! Why is this amazing dessert so easy to make?!
There are certain desserts or foods in general that I would love to have all year-long but I wait to enjoy them during specific seasons. For instance, I don’t really eat turkey unless is Thanksgiving; I only eat Ham around the holidays or Easter; I only eat BBQ when its warm outside; and I typically only eat Peach Cobbler during the holidays as well. I am definitely a seasonal eater. To me, some foods taste better when you enjoy them in their season. Do you know what I mean? Am I making any sense? However, when you learn how to make some of those season dishes easy you begin to wonder why you don’t cook it more often? Thanks to Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and my Slow Cooker I am starting to think that I really should make Peach Cobbler more often!
Typically, I try to stay away from cobblers, cakes, and pies because they are no good for my belly or my thighs. However, I have always had a hard time walking away from Peach Cobbler. It is never too far from my mind. In fact, sometimes when I go to my local grocery store, I’ll by a small personal container of Peach Cobbler just so I can get my “fix” every once in a while. It is heaven! With any cobbler or pie everyone has their favorite thing. Some people enjoy the fruit filling; some enjoy the corners; but me I am a crust girl! I love the crust. What makes for a perfect buttery crust is Pillsbury Crescent Rolls! Who would’ve ever thought that Crescent Rolls would make for a perfect crust for Peach Cobbler?! Crazy, huh?
