Adding the Bunny Ice Cream Cake by Carvel to my dinner this Easter is going to the best part of the day!
I have always considered myself to be somewhat of a “Baby Whisper”. I love babies! I feel that I have the most patience and control with babies. The crying, the confusion of day and nights, and all of the spitting up doesn’t bother me a bit. So, when we had our son 16 months ago I was in heaven. Everything about him was beyond precious and sweet that I couldn’t get enough of his presence. I was seriously love struck. Although I wasn’t the biggest fan of breastfeeding, even that was worth it just so I have an excuse to hold him a little longer. From time to time, I even volunteer on the weekends at church to watch the babies while their parents are in regular service. However, I noticed as my kid is getting older, he is becoming more independent, less quiet, and more energetic. Congratulations Nicole! You now have a toddler!
Last year for Easter my son was only about 6 months. We still got him dressed to see the Easter bunny, but that was all we could do. Now that he is older we can actually plan for a fun-filled Easter holiday celebration. Although there is simplicity in having a newborn (even though it doesn’t seem like it at first) it also comes with its level of boredom. Am I the only who finds themselves rooting for their kid to grow up when they are babies? Man, I couldn’t wait to do stuff with my kid. Especially around the holidays. Although I looked forward to doing more things with him, I didn’t account for how every day he would be ready too. I mean, I can’t keep up with this kid! Now that he is walking, he is everywhere all the time. I can’t keep up with him. He has so much energy at times I am not sure if he is going to go to bed at night. I mean he is on 10 until the very moment he is put down. Well this year for Easter, he can enjoy his visit with the Easter Bunny, have fun at an Easter Egg Hunt, and a slice of Bunny Ice Cream Cake from Carvel.
