This Brownie Trifle with Chocolate Pudding should definitely go on your “must make” list!
Layers of Brownie, Chocolate Pudding, and Whipped Cream, makes for a delicious dessert. I call this masterpiece, Brownie Trifle with Chocolate Pudding.
I knew that something was awakening inside of me when I created this wonderful Brownie Truffle dish when I was in college. I am not a huge pudding person, but I do like banana pudding. And do you know what my favorite part of the banana pudding is? The soggy or soft vanilla wafers with it. Heavenly! That is also how I feel about fruit pies. I love the soggy crust more than the actual fruit. So, as a huge brownie lover, I said to myself, “Self, why don’t you add brownie pieces to chocolate pudding?” And I must say, my self-came up with a wonderful idea.

This is another “sexy” dessert that you can make to share with a special loved one or for a pot luck. If people love chocolate, they will love this. Another idea that may be worthy of consideration, is to make raspberry puree and use is as a layer as well. I love rich bitter and dark chocolate with fruit infused somehow. I think that is a wonderful balance. In any case, I think that this a very easy recipe. I adapted Martha’s Stewart Fudgy Brownie recipe along with a basic chocolate pudding recipe. You can use your favorite recipes. Let me know what you think.
