Here is a quick and simple way to have your Caramel Macchiato’s to go! You can make them in Mason Jars and just grab and go on your way out to work or whatever it is that you do. Just add your coffee, coffee syrup, espresso, half and half, shake and go!

Here is an interesting thing about all of this, I do not like coffee. Yep you heard me. It makes me sick, it makes my stomach hurt, and I feel that my teeth are dirty after I drink it. I drank it a few times in college but that’s about it. I know many people who love coffee and different ways to drink it. So I thought to myself, “Self, why not make something for the coffee lovers?” That is where this Caramel Macchiato Recipe come into play. If you have some Mason Jars or 6 ounce to go coffee mugs then you can pre-make these in the morning before you go to school or work.
Easy Caramel Macchiato
Ingredients
- Using a 6 oz. mason jar
- 3.5 oz. coffee
- 1/8 c. flavored coffee syrup (your choice)
- 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. espresso powder
- 1/4 c. half and half
- 1 tbsp. caramel, more for topping
- whipped cream
- ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Brew the coffee with your choice of coffee brand. Allow the coffee to completely cool. You can put it in the refrigerator if you would like.
- Pour about 3-3.5 oz. of coffee in a mason jar. Add the coffee syrup, espresso powder, sugar, half and half, and shake well. If you would like, you can add the ice cubes at this point. Pour in 1 tablespoon of caramel and top off with whipped cream and add more caramel on top.
- Take it to go!
