Here is an interesting thing about all of this, I do not like coffee. Yep you heard me. It makes me sick, it makes my stomach hurt, and I feel that my teeth are dirty after I drink it. I drank it a few times in college but that’s about it. I know many people who love coffee and different ways to drink it. So I thought to myself, “Self, why not make something for the coffee lovers?” That is where this Caramel Macchiato Recipe come into play. If you have some Mason Jars or 6 ounce to go coffee mugs then you can pre-make these in the morning before you go to school or work.
- Using a 6 oz. mason jar
- 3.5 oz. coffee
- ⅛ c. flavored coffee syrup (your choice)
- 1½ tbsp. sugar
- ½ tsp. espresso powder
- ¼ c. half and half
- 1 tbsp. caramel, more for topping
- whipped cream
