Pineapple Mango Sunrise Cocktail

It’s July, so that means in most parts of the U.S. it is pretty damn hot outside. We are all finding ways to stay cool to combat the heat. Whether it’s taking a dip in the pool or staying inside, we all could use a little release from the heat every now and then. One of the best ways to stay cool is by having a nice, icy cold beverage to enjoy. Fortunately, I have just a summer cocktail that will cure your heatwave needs. 

I don’t eat a lot of heavy meals in the summer, because it’s too hot. In fact, I try to do as much as I can to not even turn on my oven or stove. At times, that is pretty difficult when you are an avid baker as I am. But the one thing I do try to enjoy is a cool beverage. I don’t like to make a huge fuss when it comes to creating recipes for cocktails. I just go with what feels good. What feels good in the summertime, is mango and pineapple fruity drinks with Alize.

Ingredients in the Cocktail

Because I don’t want to make things too complicated, I made the ingredients in this summer mango and pineapple drink fairly simple. The ingredients include:

• Pineapple Juice
• Mango Nectar
• Pineapple Alize Vodka
• Lemon Soda
• Grenadine
• Garnish with berries, mango and pineapple slices, and sprigs of mint

I mixed all of the ingredients in a 1-liter pitcher according to the measurements I have outlined below, poured them in glasses filled with ice, added a splash of grenadine, and topped off with some fresh fruit. That’s pretty much it! As easy as this cocktail is to make, I must warn you that you can hardly taste the buzz. 

The Pineapple Alize in this cocktail is a hidden guest invited to the party. Because the flavor goes so naturally with this cocktail, you can hardly tell that it’s there, and that is dangerous (in a good way). Alize is made with premium French Vodka and fresh fruit and the flavor of the liquor is smooth and isn’t harsh at all. It’s made for a cocktail like this Pineapple Mango Sunrise Cocktail.
