I am not really sure what my favorite dessert is simply because I love them all. Well wait, everything except cream pies. You know what I am talking about: Coconut Cream Pie, Lemon Meringue Pie, French Silk pie, or even Key Lime Pie ( I know it’s not a cream pie) etc. OH! I am not a big fan of cream puffs either. They aren’t nasty I just don’t like them. Now that I am thinking about it, there are a lot of desserts that I really don’t like. Hmm. You would think I would be a lot smaller than what I am in that case. However, one of my favorite desserts is what you are looking at to your left. I love me some cheesecake. It is one of the best things that has ever been created. I don’t make it that much because I don’t need that kind of temptation in my life, but when I do make it, I look at this dessert as a companion. I tell all of my troubles to (take a bite), sing the blues (take another bite), and cry about how this is Dexter’s last season ( take three bites), and cry for Eddard Stark in The Game of Thrones and how he was decapitated (eat the damn cake//also I just finished season 1 so I know I am behind). Cheesecake is my friend. My very good friend.
Seriously though, I need to be stopped. I mean, how I am going to show you guys that cooking and baking can be very fulfilling and sexy if I start to become as round as a cheesecake? Only in moderation, right? Well how about I moderate how good each bite is going down my throat? LOL. Okay, I’m done justifying it. This is a great cheesecake. It’s an easy recipe as well. You have to try it out for yourself and tell me what you think. If you don’t like strawberries as a topping, feel free to use another fruit topping or get creative with it by adding candy, chocolate, or caramel sauce on top. The sky is the limit. Let me know what you decide.
