I finally figured out how to make Brownie Crisps.
These Toffee Brownie Crisps are the easiest snacks you will ever make in your life.
I love snacks! I love to make homemeade snacks! Mostly because I feel that it saves me money. But I also love to make snacks because I know what ingredients I’m using and supplement other ingredients for those that I don’t agree. Oh, and how can I forget about the fact that you can store them most of the time and pass them out as gifts to friends and family! Making snacks are great. Kind of like my “stupid easy” Homemade Pita Chips. All you have to do for those is buy some pita bread, sprinkle with your favorite seasoning , bake them and you have pita chips. Well these Toffee Brownie Crisps are not much different. They are just as cheap to make, take no time to make, will last you for weeks, and are great gifts! You can also make these crisps with your favorite topping. In this recipe I used toffee, but you can also use mint chocolate chips, chocolate chips, and even chopped up Snickers! Get creative and make them according to your own liking.
Now I know that some of you may have heard of Brownie Brittle. Heck, I’ve’ done giveaways and made recipes using Brownie Brittle. I love Brownie Brittle. But I’ve noticed that it may not be in a lot of areas. Therefore, I have come to save the day. No, I am not comparing these Brownie Crisps to Brownie Brittle, but these crisps are a good homemade alternate to Brownie Brittle when you cannot seem to find them or if you need a quick fix. I know I’ve said this about some of my previous recipes, but this is definitely one of the easiest recipes that you will come across on this blog. All you have to do is buy box of brownie mix, make it according to the package, spread as thin as you can in a 10X15 inch baking pan, top with any desired toppings, and bake until crisp. It took me three different attempts to get these Brownie Crisps exactly the way I wanted it. I really hope you enjoy them and they satisfy your Brownie Brittle fix in the event you cannot get your hands on a bag.
