There seems to be hope on the horizon! There’s hope that things will get back to “normal” and we can gather with our friends and family again without hesitation. Well, for most of you I am sure this is a relief, but for me, I can’t celebrate just yet. Why, do you ask? I live in a suburb outside of Cincinnati, OH, and this year we are expected to have about a billion little ugly visitors from the ground that are referred to as cicadas and I am not looking forward to their stay. So, I will be in the house, again, until they leave.

While I am choosing to continue to stay indoors for a time, I am well underway with doing some spring cooking and baking to present you guys some new recipes and revisiting some of my personal favorites like my Sugar Cookie Fr uit Pizza, Picnic Pasta Salad, and Beer Canned Chicken.

Once this cicada season is over, I am having a HUGE cookout to celebrate freedom with my friends and family that I have not seen in a year or longer.
