I know that it is super cliché to say “My mom is the best mom in the world”, so I am not going to say that. Instead I will say that my mom is the best mom for me and I wouldn’t trade her for a million of the “best” mothers out there. My mom is not perfect. She has certainly made some mistakes in raising her four children. Now that I am older, you no what I realize, it is hard to be a mother and raise children in today’s age with all the influence that surrounds us these days. The thing that kind of freaks me out as a future mother is that it is only going to get worse. I mean, I’m young and have an idea of the trends and fads that are out there in the world but sometimes things surprises me! The things that these young kids face and are supposed to be “cool” is mind-blowing! Therefore, I strongly believe that every mother that is doing the best they can with what they have and know should be celebrated. If for nothing else, just being there and loving their children despite their own short comings. So cheers to all the mothers out there that is doing the darn thing the best they can. I wish I could make you all breakfast. BUT…your children can and I am giving them a list of recipes they can make for an awesome Mother’s Day Brunch.
Now, me love me some breakfast foods and these recipes have been tested by me and members of my family. If you are looking for some ideas to make for a mom for Mother’s Day, look no more.
